Priority Flyers will plant a tree for every ticket sold
Did you know? Humans cut down approximately 15 billion trees a year and re-plant about 5
billion. That's a net loss of 10 billion trees every year, and a rate that would mean the loss
of all trees within the next 300 years! Taking into account the nowadays high level of air
pollution produced by air and surface transportation we couldn’t simply stay away from Planet’s
suffering. Supporting battle against climate change, we at Priority Flyers have committed to
join environmental tree planting charity – Reforestation. In other words, we will plant a tree
for every ticket sold!
Why do trees matter?
In urban environments, trees absorb pollutant gases like nitrogen oxides, ozone, and carbon
monoxide, and sweep up particles like dust and smoke. All these reduce the effects of climate
change.
Trees play a key role in capturing rainwater and reducing the risk of natural disasters like
floods and landslides.
A single tree can be home to hundreds of species of insect, fungi, moss, mammals, and plants.
Without trees, forest creatures would have nowhere to call home.
